Star Wars: Rebellion vs Root
Side by side comparison of two top board games

Star Wars: Rebellion
Star Wars: Rebellion is a strategy game in which the Galactic Empire seeks to crush the Rebel Alliance, while the Rebels try to ignite a rebellion across the galaxy. One player commands the Imperial forces, while the other leads the Rebel Alliance. The game uses a unique system of hidden movement and deduction as the Rebels move their base while the Empire searches for it.

Root
Root is an asymmetrical game where players take on different woodland factions with completely different play styles. The Marquise de Cat rules the forest, the Eyrie Dynasties seeks to reclaim their throne, the Woodland Alliance plots revolution, and the Vagabond plays both sides.
